Customer Claim Consultant

Location: ​Gloucestershire, South West
Salary: £18,000.00 per annum

Customer Consultant - Claims Handler



Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 per annum



Hours: 37.5 hours per week



Our client, a large insurance company based in Gloucester, are currently looking for confident and passionate individuals to join their successful team.



Our client is focused on providing excellent customer service and this is where you come in! They offer a busy, fast paced environment where their employees can grow and develop within their chosen role.



You will manage the commencement of claims ensuring the customer requirements and expectations are properly framed and understood. You will provide guidance to customers on key components of the product, helping customer's to make decisions to protect claim costs and where possible provide a one stop shop.



Main Responsibilities:

* Providing excellent customer service to our customers.
* Dealing with claims in the correct manner in accordance with all guidelines.
* Identifying indicators of fraud and using questioning techniques to decide if the claim can be progressed or needs to be referred.
* Dealing with conformational calls professionally and efficiently.
* Handling a large volume of calls to a high standard consistently.
* Settling and negotiating specific aspects of the claim during the initial call.
